PTRC therapist Darcy Bently, PT, MSPT, FAAOMPT is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. The program incorporates current best evidence with a model that describes how changes in function can lead to restricted movement and complaints of pain. This model focuses on the cause of the problem rather than the symptoms, which facilitates an effective treatment plan for your patients.
In addition, Darcy has completed continuing education in the Mulligan Concept, Movement System Impairment Syndromes of the Upper and Lower Quarter, as well as a variety of other orthopedic courses. Darcy is also involved with clinical education in coordination with physical therapy programs across Texas and has worked in a variety of settings, including orthopedic, sports medicine, and skilled nursing.
